Inland National Development Company, LLC (INDC) is developing a 100-unit, transit-oriented, multifamily community in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. Located approximately 6.5 miles from downtown at 2845 W. Belden Avenue, the project is on target to be completed by the first quarter of 2020.

Designed by Fitzgerald Architects, Motif on Belden broke ground in the summer of 2018. When completed, the six-story building will offer 29 parking spots, 100 bike storage spots and close proximity to the Blue Line “L” station to the residents of the 65 studio and 35 one-bedroom apartments. Amenities will include a green rooftop terrace, balconies, a fitness room, a dog-wash station, a bike repair station and a lobby area complete with an up-to-the-minute transit television and lounge area.

“Our Belden project is particularly special to me because of the highly talented team of women, including Inland’s very own Gail Gress and Kathleen McGuire, who worked together to bring this project to fruition,” said Pamela Stewart, vice president of asset management for INDC. “This team was top notch—from our architects to project management, financing and beyond. Throughout the development process we put ourselves in the shoes of our future tenants and continually asked ourselves, ‘What would we want if we lived here?'”

The property will be leased and managed by 33 Realty with leasing beginning in January 2020. Rents will vary based on units, which range from 482 square-foot studios to 779 square-foot one-bedroom apartments. Fifteen are affordable units. Twenty-nine parking spaces will also be available for rent, in addition to 100 bicycle stalls.
