WisconsinMultifamily M&R Development building 236-unit high-end apartment project near Milwaukee April 17, 2020 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Share via email M&R Development has begun construction on a 236-unit luxury apartment building on Lake Michigan in St. Francis, Wisconsin, an inner-ring suburb located five miles south of downtown Milwaukee. The project, 4200 On The Lake, will feature one- and two-bedroom units, extensive amenities and sweeping views of both the lake and the Milwaukee skyline. Building delivery is targeted for spring 2021. M&R is co-developing the project with Campbell Capital Group, LLC. Located at 4200 S. Lake Drive, the community will offer apartments with 9-foot ceilings; quartz kitchen countertops; cultured marble bathroom vanities; tub and shower surrounds with subway tile; and full-size washers and dryers. Most apartments come with a balcony and select units also include walk-in closets. Community amenities will be housed in a two-story clubhouse and include an entertainment kitchen with large dining table; 24-hour coffee bar; private lounge; state-of-the-art fitness center; fitness studio/yoga room featuring on-demand programs; business center with private conference rooms and work stations; and self-service package room with 24-hour access. Additionally, the building includes underground, heated parking; pet washing station with grooming table and dryer; storage lockers; complementary bike sharing station; personal bike storage and repair station; and outdoor grills with seating. Most notably, 4200 On The Lake will include a large open courtyard with an outdoor swimming pool featuring a sun ledge that overlooks Lake Michigan. The proximity to Lake Michigan, the neighboring Oak Leaf Trail and miles of uninterrupted waterfront park land make biking a popular recreation option for residents in the area. As at all M&R-developed properties, 4200 On The Lake will provide a complementary bike sharing station where residents can “check out” a bike to take a ride and return it when finished. M&R Development is the project’s developer with Campbell Capital Group, LLC serving as co-developer. Project financing is being provided by CICB. Madison, Wisc.-based Stevens Construction is serving as general contractor and RMK Management will be handling leasing and property management.
