M&R Development is celebrating the grand-opening of 42 Hundred on the Lake, its 236-unit luxury apartment building overlooking Lake Michigan in St. Francis, Wisconsin, just five miles south of downtown Milwaukee.
On July 22, development partners, city of St. Francis Mayor Ken Tutaj, local civic leaders and 42 Hundred on the Lake residents attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the community, which is more than 65 percent leased.
“We are delighted to celebrate the grand opening of 42 Hundred on the Lake, which is the fastest-leasing property in our firm’s history and just a stunning development inside and out,” said Anthony Rossi, Sr., managing partner, M&R Development, which is co-developing the community with Campbell Capital Group, LLC.
Rossi added that the low inventory, yet high demand for Class-A apartments in the St. Francis area has also led to increased traffic at 42 Hundred on the Lake. With so many people continuing to work from home, Rossi said many renters are opting to live in close-in suburbs that offer a bit more space and a serene lifestyle.
Perched on a bluff at 4200 S. Lake Drive, 42 Hundred on the Lake offers apartments measuring 583 to 1,204 square feet with one to two bedrooms and one to two baths. Monthly rents at the community currently range from $1,248 to $3,350.
42 Hundred on the Lake residences showcase the latest in luxe apartment living with quartz kitchen countertops; white cultured marble bathroom vanities; modern frameless cabinets; Grohe plumbing fixtures; a Samsung stainless steel appliance suite, including a French door refrigerator; full-size washers and dryers; 9-foot ceilings; and walk-in wardrobes, per plan.
