M&R Development has announced first move-ins and the debut of two decorated models at 42 Hundred On The Lake, its new 236-unit luxury apartment building overlooking Lake Michigan in St. Francis, Wisconsin, just five miles south of downtown Milwaukee.
Located on a bluff at 4200 S. Lake Drive, the community offers apartments measuring 583 to 1,204 square feet with one to two bedrooms and one to two baths. Rents for apartments in phase one of 42 Hundred On The Lake range from $1,208 to $3,350. Pre-leasing has begun for phase two, with move-ins for those apartments beginning in June.
42 Hundred On The Lake residences showcase the latest in luxe apartment living with quartz kitchen countertops; white cultured marble bathroom vanities; modern frameless cabinets; Grohe plumbing fixtures; a Samsung stainless steel appliance suite, including a French door refrigerator; full-size washers and dryers; 9-foot ceilings; and walk-in wardrobes, per plan. While ground-floor apartments come with a patio, upper-floor apartments come with a balcony, either covered or uncovered.
First move-ins at 42 Hundred On The Lake have access to a wide assortment of community amenities and activities, including a two-story clubhouse complete with an entertainment kitchen with large dining table; 24-hour complimentary coffee bar; private lounge; business center with private conference rooms; and a game room. For those who want to enjoy a workout and a view, the community’s 24-hour, state-of-the-art fitness center offers Life Fitness™ cardio and weight equipment as well as a Wellbeats™ studio with on-demand fitness programs. Residents also have access to two courtyards, one of which is outfitted with bocce and bean bag courts, multiple grilling stations, fire pits and several lounge areas overlooking Lake Michigan.
The second courtyard centers around the property’s infinity edge pool, which is scheduled to open in May 2021 and is surrounded by sun shelves and cabanas.
Additional community amenities include a pet spa with washing station, grooming table and dryer; complimentary bike sharing station; personal bike storage and repair area; package room with 24-hour access; storage lockers; underground, heated parking; and access to the 125-mile Oak Leaf Trail that runs alongside Lake Michigan and throughout Milwaukee County.
Two decorated models are available for touring. Both the one- and two-bedroom models are shown with work-from-home areas, which Rossi noted is important for today’s renters.
Across the street from the community is St. Francis High School, while Milwaukee’s popular Bay View neighborhood is only a short drive or bike ride to the north. Downtown Milwaukee is less than 15 minutes by car, putting residents within easy reach of major employers and popular attractions, such as the Historic Third Ward; Henry Maier Festival Park, home to the Summerfest music festival; the Harley-Davidson Museum; the Santiago Calatrava-designed Milwaukee Art Museum; and the new Fiserv Forum, home to the Milwaukee Bucks.
For commuters, 42 Hundred On The Lake offers easy access to I-94, putting residents five miles from Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport and only 35 minutes from the Illinois border.
M&R Development is co-developing 42 Hundred On The Lake with Campbell Capital Group, LLC, while the award-winning RMK Management will oversee leasing and property management.
