Minneapolis-based MW Development, LLC, on behalf of the building ownership, has finalized a lease with Edina Realty for the relocation of its flagship Edina office to the Pinehurst Building located in the 50th & France business district in downtown Edina, Minn.
Edina Realty will lease 9,100 square feet on the corner of the second floor of the Pinehurst Building. The new tenant is expected to take possession in late 2012 and will be ready for full occupancy in the spring of 2013. Edina Realty is relocating from its current Edina location at 3939 W. 49½ Street.
“We are very excited to be coming to the Pinehurst Building, which we refer to as the ‘Times Square’ of downtown Edina,” said John Smaby, manager of Edina Realty’s 50th & France branch. “It’s absolutely the premier property in the neighborhood, and it’s an opportunity for us to better serve our clients and agents for a long time to come.”

Other recent additions to the Pinehurst Building include OSKA, a world-renowned German women’s fashion brand; Benjamin F. Edwards & Co., a St. Louis Mo.-based financial services firm; and Trautz Properties, Inc., a Twin Cities commercial real estate investment company.
