NAI Farbman negotiated a first-to-market real estate lease in Detroit at 18845 Mack Ave. on behalf of Culver’s.
The Culver’s brand was founded in by Craig and Lea Culver in Sauk City, Wisconsin in 1984. What started as a small, family-run operation has evolved into a franchise with over 1000 locations, which has been driven by its strong sales and diverse menu offerings nationwide.
Originally constructed as a bank in 1949, the 4,500-square-foot Detroit Culver’s location was transformed into a go-to dining destination through several key transformations to bring the Culver’s brand to life. Much of the building’s limestone exterior was preserved, and the vault door located near the dining area will also remain at the site, serving as a nod to the building’s heritage. The locally owned and operated restaurant will feature menu items including the fan favorite ButterBurgers®, a wide array of frozen custard offerings and a selection of chicken, seafood and beverage options.
Culver’s Detroit opened on December 15, 2025. Farbman Group’s Harrison Yaldoo represented Culver’s and the landlord in the transaction.
