NAI Hiffman executive vice president Chris Gary has assisted in two lease expansions on behalf of ownership, Glen Una Properties. Both transactions occurred within the Calumet Business Center in Chicago.
The property features direct Class 1 rail service and has an ideal location within the Chicago South submarket. The complex spans more than 2 million square feet within 12 different buildings. These transactions bring the complex to 100 percent occupancy.
In the first transaction, Berkshire Refrigerated Warehousing completed a lease renewal and expansion at 1400 E. 97th Street in Chicago. Berkshire Refrigerated Warehousing provides freight management solutions for refrigerated products. It will now occupy 90,624 square feet at the building. NAI Hiffman was the sole broker on the transaction.
In the second transaction, a private food and agriculture organization completed a 72,000-square-foot lease expansion at 1400-1550 E. 98th Place in Chicago. It will now occupy over 430,000 square feet at Calumet Business Center.
