Electronics service center GCR Corp has purchased a 220,000-square-foot industrial facility from Japanese electronics company JVC America in a transaction valued at just over $6.2 million. The building, located at 705 Enterprise Street in Aurora, Ill, is situated on 10 acres and includes 35,000 square feet of office space, 20 interiors docks, two drive-in doors and has 24-foot clear ceiling height. GCR purchased the property to accommodate the consolidation of its two existing facilities into one location.
Eric Tresslar, executive vice president, with NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group, represented GCR Corp in the transaction. Kirk Armous and David Prell with CB Richard Ellis represented JVC America.
In separate deals Contract Installations signed a lease for 32,783 square feet of industrial space at 333 West Washington in Mundelein, Ill. The firm will relocate to the property, where it will take 100 percent of the building which includes 2,500 square feet of office space, 18-foot clear ceilings, two interior docks and one drive-in door. The new location also allows for multiple trailer parking.

HSF Industries has leased 80,000 square feet of industrial space in a 300,251-square-foot facility located at 2100 N. 15th Avenue in Melrose Park, Ill. Stephen J. Connolly, Lawrence M. Much, and Kelly Disser with NAI Hiffman’s industrial services group, represented HSF in the transaction. Murray Karbin with Summit Commercial represented the landlord, Scarlato & Sons. HSF Industries, a wholesale furniture distributor, chose the location based on its proximity to its client base and the availability of multiple loading docks. The building also allows for future expansion of the company.
