Dan Leahy and Adam Roth with NAI Hiffman won the Industrial Broker Transaction of the Year award at NAIOP Chicago’s 29th annual Awards for Excellence ceremony held in mid-November.
Leahy and Roth won for their representation of CenterPoint in its Mars/Wrigley transaction at 4005 Cedar Creek Drive in Joliet. Mars/Wrigley consolidated its operations nationally thanks to this transaction.
The eventual site at CenterPoint Intermodal Center was chosen for its access to rail lines, proximity to a skilled labor pool and established infrastructure. The 1.38-million-square-foot warehouse facility is now under construction, with delivery set in early 2017.
