NAI Hiffman represented ownership in securing a new tenant at Aria Park Innovation Center in Lombard, Illinois. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) will occupy more than 70,000 square feet at the property.
Executive vice president Mike Van Zandt and vice president Brian Edgerton of NAI Hiffman represented the owner, 747 Properties, LLC in the transaction. GSA was represented by executive vice president Hugh Murphy and analyst Alyssa Brooks of JLL.
“This has been an exciting project to participate in over the last two years,” said Edgerton. “The building location and pricing were key considerations in GSA’s selection of Aria Park Innovation Center. The data center will provide premium communication infrastructure for all tenants considering the asset.”
A New York-based data center developer acquired the property, located at 747 E. 22nd Street in Lombard, in 2016 and recently rebranded it as Aria Park Innovation Center. Offering data center, smart office and activity-based workspaces, the property includes emergency generator backup of all office space, optional UPS backup support for tenants’ critical infrastructure, fiber-optic connectivity from multiple Tier 1 providers and mission-critical data center environment for on-site colocation.
