NAI Hiffman vice president Steve Chrastka represented Educators Advancement Group (EAG) in its long-term lease renewal of 20,521 square feet at the 20624 Abbey Woods Court building in Frankfort, Illinois. The property had recently gone through a foreclosure and sold to a new ownership group through auction, requiring Chrastka to guide EAG through this ownership transition while securing a favorable and aggressive lease.
“Being a tenant during any transition of ownership, especially in a REO/distressed situation, is difficult,” said Chrastka. “Knowing how to assemble the best team of attorneys and professional services to protect my client was key to completing this transaction. In the end, both EAG and the new ownership were able to form a new partnership, and I am proud to have had a role in it.”
EAG is a 15-year-old education consultation firm, providing consulting and professional services nationwide to K-12 level educators and institutes of higher education.
“Working with Steve and the team at NAI Hiffman offered us the industry expertise needed to establish a well-suited lease for our organization” said EAG managing partner Joe Mroz. “Steve’s attention to our needs, coupled with his outstanding communication, transparency and professionalism, helped us focus on our business throughout the process of securing a long-term lease. We are fortunate to have had Steve and NAI Hiffman represent us throughout the effort.”
