Michael Meksto, Senior Vice President with NAI Hiffman‘s Retail Services group, was named the 2015 Retail Council Chair for NAI Global, the largest global network of owner-operated commercial real estate brokerage firms.

“Michael’s experience in all aspects of retail property advisory and brokerage services will greatly benefit our members,” said Jay Olshonsky, President, NAI Global. “We are delighted that he will serve in this role to advance the organization’s efforts.”

The NAI Global Councils focus is on elevating the professional competency of its members and ensuring consistent service delivery across the network. The Councils are committed to fostering partnership and cooperation among Members by enabling sharing of best practices, including presentations, proposals, documents, collateral, tools and techniques. They work to create value-based programming at meetings and conventions, develop networking forums, and deliver content via Web conferences and industry events.

With over 26 years of experience in the Chicagoland retail real estate market, Michael Meksto has unsurpassed expertise in corporate operations, land acquisition, project leasing and sales, dispositions, and tenant representation in commercial real estate. Michael has a strong commitment to proactively developing his relationships; a great deal of his success this year is due in large part to homegrown relationships that he has developed over the last 4 years. Michael’s contacts with owners and representatives in grocery-anchored shopping centers, experience with retail real estate solutions, and in-depth knowledge of the retail market makes him a strategic partner to his clients.
