NAI Wisinski of West Michigan announces the sale of 1407 Chicago Drive SW, a 4,704 SF freestanding commercial building with an adjacent vacant parcel in Wyoming, Michigan.

The sale marks an important step for Eckhoff & DeVries Painting and Wall Covering Inc., which has experienced significant growth under its new ownership team.

After James Oosterman and two partners purchased the company, the team quickly outgrew its Chicago Drive facility. To support continued expansion, they acquired a 16,680 SF building at 3983 Linden Ave SE. Rod Alderink of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented Eckhoff & DeVries in securing the larger facility.

Rod Alderink and Kyle Kunst of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan represented Eckhoff & DeVries in the sale of 1407 Chicago Dr SW. Rod Alderink also represented Eckhoff & DeVries in the sale of 3983 Linden Ave SE. Stu Kingma, SIOR, and Jason Makowski, SIOR, both of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan, served as the listing agents for 3983 Linden Ave SE.

Eckhoff & DeVries’ move from 4,704 SF to 16,680 SF is a clear signal of the company’s growth and its long-term commitment to serving customers throughout West Michigan. The increased square footage provides room for staffing, equipment, staging, and operational improvements that will support their expanding workload.
