Bill Tyson of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan assisted Sara’s Sweets Bakery in signing a 10-year lease at 2365 East Beltline Ave. NE in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
2365 East Beltline is a new retail development that is anticipated to be completed in March of 2018.
Sherwin Williams and Sara’s Sweets Bakery are the first two tenants to have signed leases for the new development. Remaining available spaces range from 1,300 up to 8,000 square feet. Doug Taatjes and Hillary Taatjes Woznick of NAI Wisinski of West Michigan are handling the leasing for the retail center.
Tracey Smith, owner of Sara’s Sweets Bakery, started the business with her daughter, Sara, and her son, Andy, just more than five years ago.
Smith chose to move Sara’s Sweets Bakery to the new East Beltline development because of its proximity to the bakery’s old location, and because it has the space the shop needs to accommodate its growing business. The additional space in the new location will allow Sara’s Sweets to display and sell grab-and-go cakes and cake-decorating supplies and accommodate more customers.
