West Side Iron and Metal, a full-service scrapyard and recycler, will move to a new location on Hall Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Family-owned since 1983, West Side, which is currently located at 300 Straight St., is renovating the 26,341-square-foot building on Hall Street into a state-of-the-art scrap recycling facility. The 3.5-acre property, located adjacent to US-131 at 215 Hall St., is expected to be ready in the summer of 2016.
NAI Wisinski of West Michigan broker Stan Wisinski represented West Side Iron and Metal in the purchase of the building in 2014.
