The National Archives and Records Administration has opened its new office space in 102,000 square feet of SubTropolis, the underground business complex in Kansas City developed and owned by Hunt Midwest Real Estate Development.
The administration is not the first record-storage operation to locate in SubTropolis. Underground Vaults & Storage stores thousands of original movie and TV classics — such as Gone with the Wind, Friends and The Wizard of Oz — in SubTropolis. Media Services has also called the development home, setting up shop here back in 1998.
