Brown Commercial Group negotiated the sale of a 25,229-square-foot office building on a 5.5-acre lot, located at 680 Barclay Blvd. in Lincolnshire, IL. The property will now serve as the headquarters for a national radio communications network.
Brown Commercial Group Senior Broker Mason Hezner represented the building owner, Union Building Corporation, in selling the building to Relevant Radio, Inc. for $4 million. The buyer is a radio network that provides religious programming to approximately 100 stations across the country. The company is consolidating many smaller locations throughout the country and will use this facility as its headquarters.
The building was originally designed and built for the United Auto Workers of America in 2006 and was one of nine regional facilities around the country. Union Building Corporation is moving to a facility currently under construction in downstate Illinois.
Rawly Lantz of Cawley Chicago represented the buyer.
