Omaha boasts one of the most resilient commercial real estate markets in the Midwest. It’s no surprise, then, that the mood was optimistic during Midwest Real Estate News’ 2nd Annual Omaha State of the Market Commercial Real Estate Conference held Nov. 10.
The event, held at Noah’s Event Venue in Omaha, drew more than 170 local CRE pros. These pros heard the good news that Omaha’s CRE market continues to thrive, with every sector – from office and multifamily to industrial and retail – showing positive signs.
Guest emcess Jeff Beals from NAI NP Dodge kept the event on schedule, while moderators Scott Koethe, the Lund Company, and Amy Lawrenson and Jon Blumethal from Baird Holm led informative and entertaining panel sessions.
The Boom Continues multifamily panel featured Gerald Relmer, Urban Village Development; Bert Hancock, Alchemy Development; John Reed, NorthMarq Capital; and Michael Moylan, Shamrock Development.The Deal Making City panel focused on the busy retail, office, industrial and investment sectors in Omamah. Participatingin this panel were Kevin Stratman, Investors Realty; Ed Fleming, Colliers International; T.J. Twit, OMNE Partners; and Boh Kurylo, The Lerner Company.The Omaha Commercial Real Estate Developers panel, which foucsed on how the area's top developers are changing the face of the city, featured Todd Helstand, NuStyle Development; Arun Agarwal, White Lotus Group; Jay Noddle, Noddle Companies; and Jon Blumenthal, Baird Holm.
