NelsonHill has recently closed seven industrial sale and lease transactions in the Chicago area, totaling more than 300,000 square feet of space.
Chicago Taxi Medallion Management purchased 105,000 square feet on 3.75 acres at 5353 W. Armstrong to accommodate their growing fleet of more than 500 city cabs. The manufacturing building, previously occupied by Pyramid Molding Company will be converted into a fleet maintenance facility for their use. The property was selected because of its ideal location relative to the Edens and Kennedy expressways, midway between O’Hare and downtown. Ryan Hanley of Darwin represented the seller and Mark and Michael Nelson represented the purchaser.
Majestic Auto Glass has purchased a 67,000-square-foot building on 2.8 acres of land at 833 W. 47th Place in Chicago. The former IHE facility was suitable because of its 28 foot clear ceiling height and proximity to the Dan Ryan Expressway. Michael Nelson and Mark Nelson, both principals, of NelsonHill represented building ownership, the purchaser was unrepresented.
Brite Logistics leased a 26 door truck terminal at 3411 S. Cicero in Cicero. Dan Reynolds from UGL Services represented the tenant Michael Nelson and Mark Nelson from NelsonHill represented the landlord.

Great Lakes Lumber and Pallet leased a 50,500sf building at 3333 W. 47th Place, the entire freestanding building. The Nelson’s represented the tenant and Matt Rogatz from Chicago Industrial Real Estate represented the owner.
