NelsonHill has represented both parties in the sale of a 25,000-square-foot industrial facility located at 1811 W. Bryn Mawr in Chicago’s Ravenswood area. The temperature-controlled facility was recently sold for $1.3 million ($50 per square foot).
MusicDirect has purchased the facility for the expansion of the company’s operations from Chicago’s West Loop. “The acquisition represents a strong expansion for MusicDirect who needed a rare temperature controlled building, to support their specialized music operation,” said Mark Nelson of NelsonHill.
The seller of the property was Vin Divino, a company that specializes in importing and distributing wine from Italy, Austria and Chile. They will continue expanding and operating their business from the West Coast.
