Marcus & Millichap has brokered the sale of 2200 Bernice Road, a 45,000-square foot, single-tenant, net-leased industrial property located in Lansing, Illinois, according to Joe Powers, regional manager of the firm’s Chicago Downtown office. The asset sold for $2,482,000.
Peter Doughty, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor. The buyer, also a private investor, was also secured and represented by Doughty.
The subject property is occupied by National Express Transit, who operates and repairs PACE buses for southern Cook County. National Express Transit operates public transportation services in North America, Europe, and Africa.
