Kinzie Builders has completed construction on 10 North Main, a $20 million upscale rental development in the Chicago suburb of Mount Prospect, Ill. The five-story, 97-unit building is located in the village’s Prospect and Main TIF district, which seeks to revitalize the suburban downtown area.
Apartments at 10 North Main feature a variety of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 564 to 1,290 square feet. Unit finishes offer an upgraded residential experience with wide-plank flooring throughout, large quartz kitchen countertops, energy-efficient stainless-steel appliances, glass-enclosed showers, large custom closets and in-unit laundry. Private outdoor spaces are available in most apartments.
Building amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center and coffee bar, as well as a penthouse-level Residents Club Lounge complete with a kitchen, bar, billiards, multiple televisions and mobile-controlled audio system. The adjacent outdoor rooftop sundeck features multiple seating and lounging areas, stainless steel grills, a television and fire pit. In addition, 10 North Main offers ample garage and exterior parking, as well as bike storage. Smart building applications include keyless entry, real-time package notification, visitor management, lease payment and service requests.
10 North Main is a podium-style building situated on a nearly 1.5-acre site, with an above-grade, open-air precast parking garage topped by five stories of wood construction. Kinzie Builders worked with 10 North Main owner First Equity Group LLC, developer Harlem Irving Companies and architect OKW Architects from the pre-development phase through completion. Other partners include ECL Engineer Consultants, Pierce Engineering, LETech, Inc., V3 Companies and Kathryn Talty Landscape Architecture.
