Reed Construction has completed a new medical office build-out on behalf of Dr. Esther H. Lyon at the Elmhurst Medical and Surgical Center, 340 W. Butterfield Road, Elmhurst.
Construction included a new surgical procedure room, recovery rooms, examination rooms, laboratories and doctors’ offices. Reed Construction built-out a new reception area, nursing stations, waiting areas and employee break rooms. A new mechanical and electrical system was installed that includes an air handler for medical gases and updated fire protection systems.
Scott Pickands, executive vice president of Reed Construction, oversaw the project and Christine Roche was the project manager. The Proteus Group provided the architectural and engineering services.
