Presence Health-Romeoville Healing Arts Pavilion, a new 30,000-square-foot senior ambulatory care center, has opened at 500 S. Weber Road in the Village of Romeoville.
Owned by Hammes Partners, the one-story ACC features 18 private exam rooms and a full range of diagnostic and imaging services, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning, bone densitometry and mammography. Among its high-performing features, the facility also has a clinical laboratory, and such and family visitor-friendly features such as a café offering healthy food options and a gathering space with a fireplace.
Hammes Company and Presence Health previously collaborated on the development of the 10-story Presence Center for Advanced Care in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, which opened in October 2015.
“Presence Healing Arts Pavilion project represents the second successful ambulatory care project in two years that we’ve completed with Presence Health, a relationship that is very meaningful to us,” said Michael Scholl, Regional Vice President Facility Development for Hammes Company. “We are pleased that we could utilize a collaborative effort with the planning team that will make a meaningful difference to the lives of the patients and families, the physicians, and the Romeoville community.”
Hammes Company and the project team broke ground on the project in November 2015, with fast-track completion in less than a year. Along with Hammes Company, the project team includes Chicago-based architect Jensen and Halstead and Woodridge, Ill.-based general contractor Morgan/Harbour Construction.
