Chicago general contractor, Summit Design + Build, along with City Pads, Catapult Real Estate Solutions, and Cagan Management Group recently completed the construction of Edge on Broadway in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. Summit Design + Build demolished an existing, single-story building to make way for the new mixed-use apartment building.
The six-story, 79,00- square-foot apartment building at 6149 N. Broadway features 105 apartment units ranging from studios to two-bedrooms. The building also has 3,700 square feet of first-floor retail space and 45 parking spaces. Edge on Broadway is located just off of the Granville Red Line stop and within walking distance of the Loyola University Chicago campus.
For tenants of the building, the units and amenities include in-unit washer and dryer, parking lot with electrical vehicle chargers, bike room, storage lockers, fitness center with yoga room, community spaces including a TV lounge and community kitchen and an outdoor patio with paver fire pit.
Built Form served as the project architect and Clausen Management Services served as the owner’s representative for Edge on Broadway.
