Newmark has secured a 211,443-square-foot industrial lease at 500 S. Bailey Road in North Jackson, Ohio.
The lease welcomes a new tenant, a large solar manufacturing company, that signed a long-term lease to occupy the entire building.
Newmark Vice Chairman Terry Coyne represented ownership, STAG Industrial, Inc., a real estate investment trust focused on acquiring and operating industrial properties across the U.S.
In recognizing the potential of its industrial asset, specifically its strategic location and the increasing demand for modernized manufacturing facilities, STAG chose to reposition the building into a Class-A manufacturing facility. With the conversion already underway, the new tenant has taken occupancy and is in the process of ramping up operations.
The manufacturing property encompasses 211,443 square feet of space, with 201,476 square feet used for manufacturing/warehouse and 9,967 square feet used for office space. The building features 35-foot clear heights, 19 loading docks/one drive-in door, heavy power and a 245-car surface parking lot.
In addition to the building amenities, 500 S. Bailey benefits from convenient access to major freeways, including I-80 and I-76, as well as being a 31-minute drive to Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport.
