Niagara Bottling LLC – the nation’s largest private label bottled water supplier – is in process of hiring employees for approximately 70 jobs at its new facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.
The recruitment event will take place October 8, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at the SC Johnson iMET Center in Sturtevant, Wis.
Niagara will be accepting applications for experienced Production Supervisors, Production Operators, Injection Operators, Maintenance Mechanics, Shipping Associates, Dock Coordinators, Quality Assurance Associates and more. Applicants are encouraged to bring a résumé and be prepared to interview at the company’s discretion. The October 8 recruitment event will feature information on the company’s corporate and manufacturing culture, and details about its new facility. Niagara Bottling staff members will be on hand to answer questions about the company and interview applicants. Applicants will be required to participate in an onsite prescreening process. Qualified applicants who successfully complete the interview process will be hired the day of the event, pending the necessary drug screening and background check.
Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED).
Niagara is constructing a 377,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie. The facility will package and distribute private label water for its customers as well as the Niagara label. The plant will initially include two, high-speed, highly automated production lines with the option for adding additional lines in the future. The facility is slated to open in early 2015.
California-based Niagara Bottling LLC, a family-owned and operated company, began serving grocery, club, convenience stores and wholesale customers in the early 1990s. Including the Pleasant Prairie facility, Niagara will have 19 locations across the U.S.
Niagara has partnered with Gateway Technical College and the SC Johnson iMET Center in Sturtevant, Wis., to host the event in collaboration with the Kenosha Area Business Alliance and the Kenosha County Job Center.
