Entre Commercial Realty has completed the sale of a 20.7 acre land parcel at 750-800 E. Northwest Highway in Des Plaines, a site which formerly contained the corporate headquarters for Littelfuse Inc. The property was acquired by a division of Nicholas & Associates, a full-service general contractor and developer based in Mount Prospect with a strong track record with similar projects in the area.
Over the past few years Nicholas has successfully completed similar projects including the tear-down and redevelopment of the former NutraSweet site in Mount Prospect and the former Mark Motors site in Arlington Heights.
Nicholas acquired the property on a speculative basis and has begun sitework remediation and preparation. They have hired Entre Commercial Realty to market the property to companies looking for a new facility ranging from 20,000 to 350,000 square feet. Construction on a new facility could commence as early as mid-2013. The build-to-suit sites are being offered for sale or lease for commercial, industrial or mixed-use potential.
