No one knows yet what retailers will be setting up at the former home of a Roundy’s supermarket in Wauwatosa, Wis. But one thing that most can agree on: Whatever does spring up at the 69-acre site will be big.
HSA Commercial, based in Chicago, will present a proposal for the Burleigh Triangle site — which once did house a Roundy’s supermarket — on March 23 before the Wauwatosa City Council.
Stores being considered for the site include Nordstrom Rack, Container Store and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
This is no small development. According to HSA’s plans, the development will one day include more than 1 million square feet of retail space.
