Colliers|Minneapolis-St. Paul, Hillcrest Development and The Opus Group announced the expansion of North Star Sheets at the Southeast Industrial Park in Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
The company, a producer of corrugated paper products for manufacturing needs, currently occupies a 168,000-square-foot building on 16 acres. It will build a 35,600-square-foot addition and increase its total footprint by an additional 4.5 acres of land.
The City of Cottage Grove approved the plans in June of 2021.
ALong with the planned building expansion, North Star Sheets will use the newly acquired acreage to increase capacity and to add another rail spur to enhance its rail service infrastructure.
The Southeast Industrial Park is certified as shovel-ready by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED), with up to 18.5 acres available for developments ranging from 15,000 to 325,000 square feet. The owner, Hillcrest Development LLP, has retained Eric Rossbach and Andy Heieie of Colliers to market the site.
