Kate Ferrer has joined the Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation in Covington, Ken., as economic development manager.
Ferrer was previously an economic development specialist for the city of Urbana, Ill. She earned her master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
