John Burke, managing director of NorthMarq’s Houston office, secured the refinance of Houston Design Center. The 281,356 sq. ft. Class A creative office/high-end showroom property is located in Houston, Texas. NorthMarq arranged the fixed rate non-recourse loan for the borrower, MLB Capital Partners, through its relationship with a regional bank. MLB Capital Partners, a Houston-based commercial real estate investment firm, purchased the Houston Design Center in 2014, adding the name to their notable portfolio of properties.
