NorthMarq names new COO

Travis Krueger

Travis Krueger, formerly chief administrative officer, has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer of Minneapolis-based NorthMarq effective May 1. He succeeds Mike Myers, who retired at the end of March.

In this role, Krueger oversees finance and accounting, information technology, human resources, capital services, marketing communications and loan servicing. He also is integral in merger and acquisition activity for the company, which has been very active recently in both investment sales and debt and equity growth.

Krueger joined NorthMarq in 2012 and was promoted to CFO in 2013. During 2019, he became responsible for oversight of information technology, loan servicing and corporate finance and accounting. As part of the executive leadership team, he has worked to grow the firm to nearly 600 employees in nearly 40 offices, with a loan-servicing portfolio exceeding $61 billion.

Before he joined NorthMarq, Krueger spent 13 years in public accounting, including about 12 years with McGladrey, where he served for six years as director.
