Northmarq’s Kansas City office adds to multifamily investment team

Northmarq’s Kansas City office has added Casey Wilhm to its Multifamily Investment Sales team. 

Wilhm will serve as senior vice president, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties across the country.

With over 20 years of commercial real estate experience and a background in real estate law and appraisal, Wilhm brings a variety of expertise and holds real estate brokers licenses in the states of California, Florida, Kansas and Missouri. He has represented a range of clients from high-net-worth individuals to hedge funds and has completed more than $1 billion in transactions on all asset types and classifications of unimproved and improved commercial real estate since 2000.

Wilhm will partner with Jeff Lamott, Austin Waddell and Bayley Pinney on Northmarq’s Kansas City Multifamily team.

In addition to his career in real estate brokerage, Wilhm has worked in economic development growing Olathe’s real estate and business landscape with the Olathe Chamber of Commerce and City of Olathe. He has also served as a commercial real estate appraiser where he completed assignments ranging from narrative appraisal reports to §221(d)(4) appraisals and market studies. He holds a law degree from Washburn University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from Washburn University.

Wilhm is actively involved in the Kansas City community, having served on a number of boards, including the Kansas State University | Olathe Dean’s Advisory Board, Downtown Olathe Business Association Board, Heartland Business Capital Advisory Board, Johnson County Arts Commission Advisory Board and the Olathe Public Library Foundation Board. He has also been an active member of the Johnson County Public Arts Committee, Children’s Mercy Patient Family Advisory Council, Olathe Latino Coalition Business and Economic Development Committee, and the Olathe 2040 Future Ready Economy Committee.
