The Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine has signed a 61,750-square-foot lease at 633 N. St. Clair Street in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood.
The deal, which was completed earlier this month, is one of the 10 largest to be completed in the Chicago CBD so far this year, according to Jones Lang LaSalle. The school is filling space being vacated by the advertising agency Draftfcb, part of the Interpublic Group of Companies.
Jones Lang LaSalle Managing Director Steve Smith and Associate Craig Coupe completed the transaction on behalf of the building’s owner, the American College of Surgeons. Kevin Duckler and Ashley Devick from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Northwestern, which will take space on the 18th, 19th and 20th floors.
The 27-story, 545,000-square-foot building is now 100 percent occupied.
