Oak Brook, Illinois-based Core Industrial Realty hired Alexander (AJ) Smith as a broker.
Smith is a recent graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and will begin his career in industrial brokerage, focusing on the DuPage County and I-88 submarkets.
Smith joins Core after completing his Bachelor’s degree in finance with a concentration in real estate from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. During his collegiate career, he interned at FTI Consulting, KMPG, and Baker Tilly. He will work under the mentorship of Nick Krejci, co-founder of Core Industrial Realty. Smith starts his new position on June 1.
