
The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC in Oak Brook, Illinois, hired Jacqueline Dagan as Associate General Counsel and Dhaval Parikh as Head of Institutional Capital Formation, adding two seasoned leaders to its institutional asset management platform, Inland Institutional, LLC.
Ms. Dagan brings more than two decades of legal experience across investment management, real estate funds and alternative assets. Most recently, she served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at TOMS Capital Investment Management, where she oversaw legal and compliance matters for a $3 billion long/short hedge fund. Earlier in her career, she held senior legal roles at BentallGreenOak and MetLife Investment Management, advising on fund launches, managed accounts, private placements, side letters, regulatory filings and global licensing matters.
Ms. Dagan will support Inland Institutional’s legal strategy, regulatory oversight and continued business growth. She earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and her B.A. in Psychology, with distinction, from the University of Michigan. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Ms. Dagan will report to Inland’s General Counsel.
Mr. Parikh brings nearly 20 years of experience in capital raising, investor relations, and product development within the real estate investment industry. Before joining Inland Institutional, he served as Head of Capital Raising & Investor Relations at Parkview Financial, where he led a team of professionals dedicated to global capital formation and client services across institutional and private wealth channels. Previously, he held leadership roles at Ares Management, MetLife Investment Management and BlackRock, where he helped drive significant platform growth, develop new fund offerings and build relationships with institutional investors and consultants.
At Inland Institutional, Mr. Parikh will lead institutional capital formation efforts, support new product and strategy development, and cultivate new institutional investor relationships while supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives. Mr. Parikh holds a B.S. from Stony Brook University and an M.B.A. from Baruch College. He is a CFA charterholder and CAIA designee.
