
Oak Brook, Illinois-based The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC added Matthew Beverly as Head of Asset Management.
In his new role, Mr. Beverly will lead Inland’s asset management initiatives, overseeing strategies designed to enhance portfolio performance, drive value creation, and support the long-term objectives of Inland’s investment platforms. He will work closely with Inland’s executive leadership team and leverage the Company’s vertically integrated real estate platform to maximize operational excellence and investor outcomes.
Beverly brings more than 20 years of managing high performing, cross function real estate teams focused on asset management, investments, development, leasing, and portfolio optimization. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Transformco Properties, LLC, where he led value-creation initiatives involving the sale, development and leasing of the former Sears and Kmart real estate portfolio.
Throughout his career, Beverly has held numerous executive leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer of Cullinan Properties, Ltd., which is a full-service real estate development and investment firm delivering mixed-us projects throughout the country. Prior to that, he served as President of the East Division for Retail Properties of America, Inc. (RPAI), overseeing an 8 million-square-foot portfolio generating approximately $130 million in annual net operating income and directing a $500 million mixed-use development pipeline.
Earlier in his career, Beverly served as Vice President of Investments at General Growth Properties Inc., where he executed more than $4.4 billion in acquisition, disposition and joint venture transactions both in the US and internationally.
