Oak Brook, Illinois-based The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC named Michael Collins as Head of Global Wealth of Inland Securities Corporation.
Inland Securities Corporation is the exclusive dealer manager and placement agent for real estate investment programs offered by Inland Investments and its affiliates. Mr. Collins will report to Tony Chereso, CEO and President of The Inland Real Estate Companies, LLC.
Michael will be at the helm of driving Inland’s financial advisory platform strategy, enhancing its distribution capabilities, optimizing its operational performance, and ensuring Inland maintains an integrated approach to serving both advisors and investors. By bringing Inland’s sales and operations teams under a unified leadership structure, Michael will play a pivotal role in helping Inland scale its platform efficiently, all while keeping a sharp focus on client experience and execution excellence.
Prior to joining Inland, Mr. Collins was a Managing Director on the Capital Formation Team at Hunter Point Capital. Previously he served as a Partner and Managing Director at Easterly Asset Management, where he served as Head of Distribution, leading sales and managing relationships with wirehouses, family offices, RIAs, pensions, E&Fs, and insurance companies. Earlier in his career, he served as Executive Managing Director at Kennedy Wilson, an international real estate investment firm, heading investor relations, and was also a member of Blackstone’s first Private Wealth Solutions sales team.
