Oberer Realty Services recently closed a deal to bring Illinois-based Rural King, a home and farm goods retailer, to the Dayton, Ohio, area.
Rural King, which occupies more than 50 stores across the Midwest, recently purchased an 84,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by Kmart for its first Dayton location. The store will join a 70,000-square-foot Kroger and manyother national and regional tenants in the Waynetowne Plaza shopping center.
Danielle Kuehnle, director of new development sales and leasing for Oberer, represented the owner in the deal. The addition of Rural King brings the occupancy rate at Waynetowne Plaza to 86 percent.
