O’Brien Construction Company, a Michigan-based multifamily general contractor, appointed Mike Ekis as Executive Vice President of Construction.
In this role, Ekis will operate out of O’Brien’s North Canton, Ohio, office, overseeing all the senior living and build-to-rent opportunities, as well as helping to grow the O’Brien footprint across multiple states.
Ekis brings 25 years of construction leadership to O’Brien, with experience delivering multifamily and senior housing. He joins from Wallick Construction in New Albany, Ohio, where he served as Senior Vice President, leading project management, field, and administrative teams on new construction and preservation projects across six states. His career includes having been a part of teams that delivered more than 1.5 million square feet of single-family and multifamily housing, making him an ideal addition to the growing O’Brien team.
