James Russell has earned a promotion to chief operating officer of Columbus, Ohio-based The Pizzuti Companies.
Russell will now oversee Pizzuti’s real estate development consulting and construction activities at its headquarters in Columbus and its regional offices in Orlando, Fla., and Chicago.
Russell joined Pizzuti in 1997, bring with him nearly a decade of experience working in the public sector. He played a key role in developing Pizzuti Solutions in 2005.
Pizzuti Solutions is the company’s public/private development and consulting division. This division provides development services for such large-scale projects as the new Franklin County Courthouse in Columbus; a new sheriff’s administration building in Nassau County, Fla.; and the Exploration Park high-tech research park being built on the grounds of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
