Jeffrey Hullinger has joined the Columbus, Ohio, office of engineering firm SME as a senior consultant with the company’s environmental services group. He brings more than 30 years of experience in environmental evaluations and consulting, including 15 years as a Certified Professional in the Ohio Voluntary Action Program.
Hullinger provides senior technical consulting and project management in the areas of brownfield redevelopment and financing, site investigation and remediation, environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance.
He has prepared air, industrial wastewater and stormwater permit applications, directed and conducted site evaluations, assessed contamination on current and past industrial properties, prepared human health risk assessments, and managed remedial action designs. His clients have included municipalities, authorities, and companies in the organic chemicals, inorganic and organometallic chemicals, rubber, iron and steel, nonferrous metals, electronics, food, and surface coating industries.
SME opened the Columbus office in January 2018 as part of a strategic goal to expand its geographical footprint throughout the upper Midwest.
