O’Malley Construction, a national general contractor based in Arlington Heights, Illinois, has expanded with the addition to two new hires. Amber Zurcher joins the company as business development director and Colin Fornaris comes aboard as project engineer.

Zurcher comes to O’Malley from The Andover Group where she provided marketing and sales consulting services to construction and architecture companies in Illinois as well as Texas. Overall, she brings 16 years of business development and marketing expertise to the O’Malley team. In her role as director she is responsible for increasing the firm’s market share within the interiors, healthcare and higher education markets. She holds a BA in communications, with high honors, from Northern Illinois University and is involved in numerous charitable and industry organizations.

Fornaris graduated from Illinois State University in 2016 where he majored in renewable energy technology and minored in environmental studies. Directly out of college he was hired by Michels Corporation as a project engineer assisting with the estimating and management of building and bridge foundation projects. At O’Malley, Fornaris will provide estimating support to the senior project management team.

“We’re thrilled to add Amber and Colin to the O’Malley team. These strategic hires further support our growth initiatives in the commercial construction industry,” said Tom O’Malley, president, O’Malley Construction.
