The Opus Group has started construction on Winchester Logistics Park, a two-building speculative industrial development in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Construction on a 258,000-square-foot mid-size and a 556,000-square-foot larger cross-dock building is expected to be complete in the summer of 2020.
Located in the southeast side of Columbus, Winchester Logistics Park offers convenient access to the area’s major transportation routes including U.S. Highway 33, I-270 beltway and I-70. Additionally, the development is adjacent to numerous amenities including shopping centers, restaurants and banks, and will include a walking path that leads directly to the nearby shopping center.
With several features such as build-to-suit office space, 32-36-foot clear heights, LED lighting and ample auto and trailer parking, Winchester Logistics Park will be able to accommodate a variety of industrial users once complete.
Opus is the developer, design-builder, and architect and engineer of record. This project is a joint venture with New York-based AIG Global Real Estate, the real estate equity investment arm of insurer American International Group, Inc. (AIG) and First National Bank of Omaha provided financing for the project. Brian Marsh and Dan Wendorf with JLL will market the project for lease.
