The Opus Group (Opus) has announced the completion of a 44,000 square-foot industrial and office facility for King Shan, L.L.C., in West Dundee, Illinois. The project is an expansion of the company’s existing 35,000-square-foot facility that was constructed by Opus in 2010.
Located next to King Shan’s existing facility in Oakview Corporate Park, the buildings are connected by a graded drive aisle, providing integrated access and ensuring shipping and distribution operations run seamlessly.
The expansion more than doubles the company’s industrial space with an additional 42,500 square feet of warehouse space and 1,500 square feet of office space. Other features of building include 24-foot clear height, three dock doors and a large conference area. Construction on the building began fall 2014 and was completed March 2015.

Opus Design Build, L.L.C. was the project’s design-builder, and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. was the architect and structural engineer of record.
