Minnetonka, Minn.-based Opus Design Build, L.L.C. has been awarded a contract from Chicago Tube & Iron in Eagan, Minn., for a 40,000-square-foot warehouse addition. The project has received final city approval and is scheduled to break ground in May.
Opus also will complete interior renovations, refinish the front entrance of the building and add a new canopy to reflect the exterior design of other Chicago Tube & Iron facilities.
In addition to the warehouse expansion, interior renovations will increase the facility’s handicap accessibility and will modernize finishes in restrooms and other areas. Showers will be removed and replaced with 40 lockers and a new lighting and air mechanical system will brighten and improve air flow in the break room.
