Opus Development announced that Olga Olejniczak has been promoted to manager of real estate development. Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Olejniczak manages all aspects of development, including pursuits, due diligence and entitlements, as well as coordination with JV partners, construction and design teams, marketing firms and property management companies.
Over the last several years, her contributions have been invaluable to the success of Chicago-area multifamily projects, including Uptown LaGrange, The Marke of Elmhurst and Ellison Apartments. She also recently led the development management of the interior design and buildout of our newest student living project, Ascend Five Points South in Birmingham, Alabama.
“Olga has been an integral part of the Chicago team since joining nearly five years ago,” said Mike Yungerman, senior vice president and general manager of Opus Development. “I’m proud to watch her take this next step. I look forward to watching Olga’s continued contributions to our team and growth in her career.”
Olejniczak recently earned her MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and serves on the board for Real Estate Finance Forum, an organization dedicated to the professional development of women in real estate.
