The Opus Group announced it has promoted Bryan Farquhar and Matt Kurucz to senior managers for its real estate development team at the firm.
Bryan Farquhar has been with the company since 2013 and has more than eight years of development and brokerage experience. Most recently, he’s working on multifamily developments totaling over 500 units and a large office build-to-suit.
In his new role, Farquhar will manage development projects from inception to completion, including land procurement, entitlements, financing and joint venture coordination, construction and disposition.
Farquhar holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of business administration in finance from Western Michigan University.
Matt Kurucz joined Opus in 2014 and has been responsible for identifying and executing industrial development opportunities in the Chicago market.
Some of Kurucz’s industrial projects include I-88 Gateway Logistics Center in North Aurora, Illinois and the Paragon Business Park in Romeoville, Illinois.
Kurucz earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a Master of business administration and a Master of Science in real estate and construction management from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
