The Opus Group has started construction on a speculative industrial building in Bondurant, Iowa. The project, known as Commerce Crossings, is located within a growing distribution area with quick access to Interstates 80 and 35 and can accommodate one or multiple tenants seeking office/warehouse or distribution space.
Once complete, the speculative building will total 195,500 square feet with 28-foot clear height, 16 drive-in doors, 18 dock doors and 165 vehicle parking stalls. The building will feature an eye-catching exterior with plenty of windows, including clerestory windows, at the entrances.
The project is scheduled for November 2021 completion. In addition to this building, Signature Commercial Real Estate has plans for another speculative development adjacent to this one.
Opus is the design-builder, interior designer and architect and structural engineer of record. Signature Commercial Real Estate is the developer and owner and is currently marketing the speculative building for lease. Shive Hattery is the civil engineer for the project.
